Equipment Technician (trainee also accepted)

SMART Photonics has a 24/7 running fab and after our shifts are all in a 5-shift scheme we also need more dedicated technicians able to solve issues, support and assistance in the shifts  so we can expand our production, and become less depended on the engineers in the dayshifts.

With this in mind we are recruiting Equipment Technician in our Equipment team

You will become the support for the Equipment team. In this position you support with operational tasks, maintenance of tools & equipment  and  solve technical issues and tools down.  You are responsible of the overview of your own projects, collect and analyse the data, share outcomes with your team.

You will be trained during dayshifts, after this the position will move to 5-shifts. 

Main daily tasks:

• First line support technician during evening, nights and weekend. (part of the 5-shifts teams)
• Maintenance of equipment & tools
• Enable the team to focus on their core task, by taking over operational tasks
• Support during the wafer production

We are looking for a person who has/is

• MBO degree in a technical field.
• Outstanding wafer handling experience and insights on the complete wafer production process and the used tools or an operator who is interested to be trained.
• Accurate and able to manually handle the finest equipment and tools.
• Good communication skills to work collaboratively and thrive on accountability.
• Is a real self-starter, takes initiative and get things done.
