Simulation Engineer

As our Simulation Engineer you offer solid experience in device physics, Thermal Modelling, RF and Physics Modelling.

Job description 

• Model PIC and laser devices at nano- and micro-scale
• Support of photonic device development teams from idea to product
• Develop, validate, and apply predictive multi-physics simulation models
• Trigger and follow-up necessary experimental work for model validation
• Contribute to high-quality reports, publications and patents
• Support and collaborate with our customers to understand their needs

We are looking for a person who has /is

• A PhD in Integrated Photonics or a Master with at least 4 years of industry experience is a must
• experience in Multi-physics modelling
• Good understanding of Device Physics, optical, Thermal and/or, RF
• Thorough understanding of optical and photonic devic
  

  Integrated photonics for LiDAR

  es (e.g. diffractive optics, waveguides, PICs)

• Good communicator and able to get things done
• A natural independent drive to get things done and ownership
