SMART Photonics is a rapidly growing, ambitious open foundry on InP. We are growing our company from 90 fte (begin 2022) to 150 fte (YTD). Also, our Test and Measurement team is growing and in need of a:

Test & Measurement Technician

As a Test and Measurement Technician, you will become part of the Test & Measurement team. In this position, you support the Test and Measurement team with operational tasks, and several testing procedures on wafer, bar, and die levels and report on this.

You are responsible for overviewing your projects, collecting, and analysing the data, and sharing outcomes with your team. Please be advised this role is in a 2-shift schedule (15% shift allowance).

Main daily tasks:

• Test & Measure wafers, bars, and dies on a functional and electrical level
• Preparation of more complex tests
• Enable the team to focus on their core task, by taking over operational tasks
• Visual inspection and end inspection
• Additional projects such as support in ESD project.

We are looking for a person who has/is

• MBO degree in a technical field.
• Outstanding wafer handling experience and insights on the complete wafer production process and the used tools.
• Extremely accurate and able to manually handle the finest equipment and tools.
• Good communication skills to work collaboratively and thrive on accountability.
• Is a real self-starter, takes initiative, and gets things done.
