SMART Photonics and GX Group have set up a strategic collaboration, supported by an initial investment commitment of ₹500 crore (+/- 49 mln Euro).
GX Group, a global leader in broadband and connectivity technology, has taken a pioneering step toward building India’s indigenous photonic chip ecosystem. The company proudly announces the launch of GX Quantum Photonics, a new venture dedicated to developing advanced photonic modules and chip systems.
The initiative comes with an initial investment commitment of ₹500 crore (+/- 49 mln Euro), supported by Invest International (Netherlands), and a strategic collaboration with SMART Photonics BV, a Netherlands-based global leader in Indium Phosphide (InP)-based Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs).
These innovations will power next-generation broadband, 5G/6G networks, and quantum communication technologies, reinforcing GX Group’s commitment to driving cutting-edge solutions in global connectivity.
