A position for a Visionaire in Integrated Photonics with a specialisation on RF design, offering at least 10+ years of industry experience.  You core challenge is to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies and communicating them effectively to both customers and colleagues.

Our Technical Competence Centre is at the heart of our efforts, focusing on developing and optimizing RF design and other solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RF Design Expertise: Lead the design, development, and optimization of RF systems, on InP, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers and scientists, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in RF design.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a key point of contact for customers, translating their needs into technical requirements, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of RF solutions.
  • Communication: Articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including customers, stakeholders, and team members. Prepare and present detailed reports, proposals, and presentations.

Requirements to fit this job:

    • Education: Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in RF design and development in a commercial environment, with a proven track record of successful project leadership and technical achievements.
    • Skills:
      • Expertise in RF design and analysis tools and methodologies.
      • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, including requirements gathering, solution development, and presentation.
