ICT Internship – Create Software for Android Devices

Projects and tasks:

As an intern, you will be working alongside the ICT team at SMART Photonics. The projects focuses on:

• Full Stack development and Android development
• Development of an application for Zebra handheld scanners running Android OS
• Server-based application with a web-based client GUI for data processing and continuation
• Integration with a MES system (Manufacturing Execution System), with the supplier based in Enschede
• Functional Domain: Inventory management

Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking students who:

• Are enrolled as students in an educational institution in the Netherlands;
• Bachelor students in the field of ICT, or other relevant fields;
• Are passionate about technology and software development;
• Have knowledge or interest in Full Stack and Android development;
• Are eager to work on real-world problems, specifically in inventory management;
• Can work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.

This internship will take place in our offices, in Eindhoven (High-Tech Campus). The duration of this internship is from 3 to 12 months, 5 days per week, depending on project requirements and availability.
