Senior Project Lead PMO

As an Indium Phosphide foundry specializing in Photonic Integrated Circuits, our cutting-edge technology uniquely integrates semiconductor lasers, amplifiers, detectors, and high-speed modulators. This enables us to create state-of-the-art solutions for optical communications and diverse sensing applications, addressing major societal challenges across sectors such as communication, automotive LiDAR, and medical applications.

We are expanding our PMO team and seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Lead to lead our most challenging and complex projects. This is a key role in driving successful execution of SMART’s strategic product roadmap

Job Description: As a member of the PMO department, you will oversee complex projects, including developing new Technology Platforms and the components belonging to it.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining project platforms that support business strategies, managing cross-functional, multi-company, and intercontinental teams.
• Innovating management techniques for multicultural and virtual teams, ensuring effective mentoring and coaching.
• Maintaining C-level stakeholder relationships and identifying potential new business models with external stakeholders.
• Advocate for an Agile and results-oriented mindset across the company, fostering a program management culture and contributing to positive cultural change.
• Promoting a winning mindset and enthusiasm throughout the organization.
• Championing a talent management culture.

Qualifications: We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

• A Master’s degree in a technical field or PMO-related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in senior project management within a technical, complex business environment.
• Preferably, knowledge of MEMS, semiconductors, and/or high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven ability to translate market insights into enterprise strategies.
• An independent drive to take responsibility, ownership, and Customer first mentality.
• This role requires some-one whit a natural capability to influence people in positive way. The charisma to connect the opposites and to represent our projects as one united goal.
