For Johan Feenstra of SMART Photonics, being able to scale up production capacity in a timely manner is a critical success factor in SMART Photonics’ ambition to become the leading player in integrated photonics. “It is unacceptable, for example, that a new factory that can be built today would not be connected to the power grid until 2028.”
