About Us: SMART Photonics is a leading foundry for integrated photonics, specializing in the development and production of photonic integrated circuits (PICs). We are committed to advancing photonics technology and are looking for a passionate Sales & customer support colleague to join our dynamic commercial team.
In this broad and diverse position, you play a central role in our commercial processes by supporting the account managers in various steps of the sales process.
Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Admin:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for processing (new) customer orders, including NDA, Export Control checks, order entry, order tracking, supporting quotes and invoices and order fulfilment.
- Coordinate closely with sales colleagues, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders.
- Support weekly and monthly sales reporting
- Follow, improve and mature our sales processes, secure the right services matching a TIER 1 foundry.
- Assistance in the development of sales collateral, like datasheets, whitepapers, and case studies.
Account Management Support
- Storytelling: Balance how the message addresses business needs and is of interest of the other party.
- Follow up after delivery for future business/runs, explore more opportunities.
- Use reporting and information to identify key facts and trends for the business
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of samples, prototypes, and pricing information to customers.
Education & experience level:
- Bachelor’s or masters degree in technical field, preferable work experience in semiconductor customer and/ or sales support.
- Strong interest in photonics, semiconductor technology, or microelectronics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
- Accurate in the administrative tasks and customer communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
