As a Process Technician in the R&D team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless production, both in regular and non-standard wafer processes. Working closely with both R&D and production teams, you’ll operate advanced equipment, monitor wafer quality, and help resolve process issues. Your flexibility and expertise will be key in driving the success of our production goals. Role and Responsibilities:

In this position, flexibility is crucial flexibility is crucial. You will be expected to work across different locations (TU/e and HTC). You will be expected to handle a variety of wafer processes, including regular production, non-standard processes and R&D wafers. You’ll also step in to cover for colleagues during vacations and absences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and managing equipment for producing and measuring regular production, non-standard, NPI, and R&D wafers.
  • Independently and accurately performing all process steps in the cleanroom.
  • Following work instructions carefully for each process step and using equipment correctly.
  • Monitoring the quality of process steps, identifying deviations, and reporting or communicating any discrepancies.
  • Solving first-line process problems and executing tasks assigned by Process and R&D Engineers.
  • Evaluating and executing reworks.
  • Managing shop floor support programs (such as MES, datasheets).

Who We’re Looking For:

  • MBO level in Process Technology, VAPRO, MLO, Chemistry, or Microbiology, with at least 2 years of experience in wafer processing.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • You are precise, accurate, and stay critical and alert to deviations in the production process.
  • Good hand-eye coordination for handling wafers carefully.
  • A true team player – you will engage with different teams (Operations, R&D, NPI).
  • Able to identify production line issues quickly and spot opportunities for improvement.
  • You remain results-oriented, keeping your focus on the end goal despite setbacks.
  • Capable of setting priorities and ensuring the timely progression of wafer production.
  • Flexibility – in this role you will work 2-day shifts.
