Stefanie Kahle joins Supervisory Board of SMART Photonics
Stefanie Kahle-Galonske, CFO at Egon Zehnder International and member of the Board of Directors of ASM International, joined the Supervisory Board of SMART Photonics. SMART Photonics, the independent foundry for photonic integrated circuits, is very pleased and honored with the addition of Stefanie Kahle-Galonske and her knowledge of the industry and expansive network. In the Supervisory Board she is welcomed by the current members Nard Sintenie (Innovation Industries), Rutger Wijburg (Infineon) and Frits van Hout (former ASML). Stefanie will chair the Audit and remuneration committee of the Supervisory Board.

I enjoy being part of building the company further, using my own experience in finance and strategy in different businesses and different roles as well as in the semiconductor business, a field closely related to integrated photonics”.
Stefanie Kahle-Galonske joined Egon Zehnder, Zurich, Switzerland in 2016 as group CFO. From 2013 to 2016 she served as CFO of Markem-Imaje, based in Switzerland. From 2005 to 2012, she held several executive finance positions at NXP Semiconductors in the Netherlands, Germany and France, taking part in the spin-off from Philips, the private equity ownership after that and NXP`s IPO In 2010. From 1997 to 2004 she held various senior positions in Finance and Internal Audit at Philips Germany and the US.
With the appointment of Stefanie Kahle-Galonske, SMART Photonics makes another important step towards becoming the leading foundry for integrated photonics. SMART Photonics aims to improve people’s lives by introducing integrated photonics everywhere through working with customers from proof of concept to full production. SMART Photonics is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven and employs over 140 people worldwide.
